How did they meet?

Reece was the chef and Amelia was the barista! Reece would place his keep cup on the counter in front of her and then step away without saying anything- a gesture that Amelia found mildly arrogant. She responded by serving everyone else first and then saying to him ‘sorry were you waiting for something?’ Turns out it wasn’t arrogance at all – he just didn’t want to be obtrusive or demanding! Thus was the start of Reece and Amelia’s love story that culminated in this gorgeous wedding at Coolibah Downs private Estate in the Gold Coast hinterland.

Every wedding has its own story! This beautiful celebration at Coolibah Downs Private Estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland was one filled with genuine emotion, laughter and unforgettable moments.

Reece and Amelia were surrounded by lush gardens and the relaxed elegance that makes Coolibah Downs such a sought-after wedding venue. I created a ceremony that reflected exactly who they are. From heartfelt personal vows to plenty of laughter shared with family and friends, every part of the ceremony felt authentic, meaningful and uniquely theirs.

As a marriage celebrant, my goal is always to create a ceremony that feels natural rather than scripted. One that allows couples to relax, be present and truly enjoy one of the biggest moments of their lives. Seeing guests laugh and shed a few happy tears. And leave saying, “That ceremony was so them,” is always the greatest compliment.
