Introducing the newlyweds, Mikhala & Cobi!
Just as we were about to get to the legal bits, Cash the pug started protesting from outside- clearly he wanted to see his parents saying their ‘I Dos’ 😁🐶
So, we bright him in and he looked very content in Mikhala’s arms as she and Cobi became legally married.

Who's a GOODBOY! Who's a GOODGIRRRL? 🐶😍
Well, Molly was a very good girl. Bernie the Staffy x Sharpei, standing in line with the rest of the groomsmen, decided to roll around on his back in the gravel mid- ceremony, enjoying a good old back rub, (as you do).
Want your fur babies to be part of your big day but worried about looking after them? Look no further than @fuzzybuddyau who did a marvellous job exercising the doggos prior to the ceremony and being on standby to take them off for walkies as required, retrieving Bernie mid ceremony 😂, then taking back to the accommodation afterward!
A big thanks to Nicola from @dreamlifebrisbane photography for sending these cracking photos through, and of course the lovely Evan and Tamara the newlyweds, who were a joy to meet and 'work' with in the lead up to their magical day at Figtree!

It was a beautiful day at Figtree for Tamara & Evan, who included their beloved fur babies Bernie (Sharpei x Staffy, groomsman) & Molly (Golden Retriever, bridesmaid) in the bridal party!
Some kind words from Evan & Tamara: “We are incredibly happy with selecting Heidi as our celebrant for this once in a lifetime event. She has an incredible gift of getting to know the couple, understanding how they met, understanding how they fit together and also listening and ensuring that she understands exactly what they are looking for. Balanced - She has an organic way of being able to adapt to suit the occasion. For our ceremony she added color to the wedding by telling stories that made it feel like she had known us for years. Can I kick myself in my 20 yr old face? 😂I'd often ride with thongs (THE SHOE KIND), short shorts and a bikini top down to the beach.Safety gear? Meh. 😬Thankfully I never had a serious accident. I realised my mortality after a few yrs as a Sydney ambulance paramedic. The volume of road trauma I went to was enough to make anyone pause and reflect. Sometimes the trauma was fatal. Other times, people were left in critical condition. I was only involved in the first bit of their care and treatment of the ones who survived to hospital, so I never knew how they'd fared- long term injuries and rehab or a full recovery? I never made the enquiries because I preferred not to think about it. I gave up my bike and swapped it for a car with about a gazillion airbags. I never thought I'd get on a bike again- until nearly 30 years later, when I had another go & immediately knew I'd get back into it. As you can see by my boots, which are literally like ski boots (and just as hard to walk in), I take my safety seriously now. My jeans have the special padding stuff in them. My jacket has armour plates. I even have knuckle protectors on my gloves. I have a voice activated communication system so my husband and I can talk whilst riding. He rides ahead of me and can tell me if a truck is coming around a bend on one of the many narrow winding country roads or if there's an unusually large pothole ahead. We don't speed, don't ride in the rain, the dark or even at sunset when wild animals come out onto the road. I've been to a few meetings with couples getting married when planning their day, but unfortunately I cannot travel to an actual wedding on my bike- it's not built for a chick in a frock!😂 So...what would you like to kick yourself in the face for? 😂🤔
