Thank you to the Alek/x/s for taking the time to write a lovely review. It always means so much. And it never ceases to amaze me that a person can have this ‘job’ as a celebrant and get to be trusted with such an important part of a very significant day. I know many other celebrants would agree that it is a very humbling experience and one we never take for granted 🧡💛🧡 #elopebrokenhead

Alex was at a bar one night when he looked across the room and locked eyes with a beautiful girl. It was Aleks, from Poland. The two Alex/k/s fell in love and decided to elope from Sydney to Byron with a couple of Polish friends who also happened to be former wedding photographers! I learned of a Polish tradition and witnessed Natalia give Alex a challenge- if he lost the challenge he would have to drink two shots of vodka. The challenge involved him having to guess how many rooms Aleks would like in their new home, and then he had to build it in three minutes out of lego. Well, against all odds, he did it, so he and Aleks each had one shot of vodka amd then had to throw the glasses over their shoulder. I’m not sure if I’ve accurately described the specifics of the tradition, but our Polish witnesses said their challenge on their own wedding day was the groom having to chop wood. If there are any Polish readers out there please feel free to elaborate on this ritual! I’m looking at you @gaylenrobertson_ to ask Raf 😛😍 After that we all walked around the headland at Broken Head to have a lovely short ceremony as the sun set on a beautiful Byron autumn day 🌅. Congratulations 🎉 to two really lovely people- Aleksandra & Alexandre! 🥰🥰🥰
