The Couple
Julian and Angela, from Melbourne, chose to say their vows near Broken Head Beach NSW.
Julian is a digital consultant and Angela a midwife. They met online and quickly built a solid friendship that evolved into love. They both had a love for Byron Bay and decided to escape the Melbourne winter to the beautiful sub-tropical climate of the Northern Rivers with a few family and friends.
The Ceremony
The sun was beginning to set as we made our way along the sandy track. What a magnificent walk it is from the Broken Head carpark to the headland at the Three Sisters rocks. Whales and dolphins frolicked off in the distance, and there was plenty of birdlife both in the air and in the water.
A simple patterned rug was the only adornment present. This was for the happy couple to stand upon as they pledged their commitment to each other. Nature provided the rest of the ‘decoration’! Angie wore the most stunning boho-type wedding dress and looked a billion dollars! Julian looked mighty dapper in a suit and a massive smile as he spotted his bride walking down with her dad to greet him. Angie’s mum read a lovely piece for them before they exchanged vows and rings. They sealed the deal with their first kiss as a married couple, much to the delight of loved ones cheering on.
Congratulations Angie and Julian. It was a shame that Hendrix the pupper could not be present for your big day. I am sure you made it up to him upon your return to Melbourne! It was a pleasure and an honour to be your celebrant.
